Join the Team: In-House Handyman

Landlords trust us to get good prices and quality fixes for their investment. Tenants trust us to conduct timely repairs and communicate every step of the way. In order for Castle to succeed in pleasing both parties, we need professional individuals on our team to step in and address issues, or monitor the work of others.

The In-House Handyman (IHH) is responsible for ensuring maintenance issues and damages at Castle-managed properties are thoroughly documented and diagnosed, monitoring the work of other professional tradespeople, and immediately beginning working on basic, necessary maintenance repairs, including, but not limited to rekeying, snaking drains, repairing handrails, basic painting and caulking, clearing gutters, fixing door frames and installing or swapping locks, and replacing electrical outlets.

You should expect to spend most of your time in the field, but you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the greater vision for the company through attending regular Operations meetings, speaking with our engineers about new features for our product, and sharing institutional knowledge to improve Castle’s processes around maintaining city compliance.
